All paintings on ArtNouv are custom hand made oil paintings. These are not prints on canvas. We commission experienced artists to paint portraits, reproductions or gallery paintings for our customers. No computer aided techniques are used in producing these paintings.

The founders of ArtNouv have been in the business of selling hand made custom oil paintings since 2002. We have a satisfaction guarantee policy that ensures that we only send you the final painting once you are 100% satisfied with the quality.

Unfortunately, because of the high value of these paintings and the number of orders we get, we cannot ship samples to our customers. If you are near any of our offices, please do drop by and visit us to see some of the samples.

All paintings come in a tube that is shipped to you. We will soon be launching an option to frame paintings or buy them in a mounted form.

At this time, we do not frame paintings. In the near future though we will be able to frame paintings and recommend framing shops to our customers.

Absolutely! One of the main advantages of a custom painting is that we can paint all or a part of the photograph you give us. Once you place an order, you can speak with our customer service representative about your specific requirements.

Since these paintings are custom made by hand, it does take an artist a few weeks to finalise a painting and send it to you. We commit to a 3 week delivery period, however, this can change depending on any changes you make to the final painting. Please refer to the painting process "How it works" for more information.

Yes, a picture of the painting will be sent to you before delivery for your approval. You can ask for any changes/modifications. The painting will be shipped to you only after you send a final approval to it. Please refer to the painting process "How it works" for more information.
